If a Brisbane building is going to be serviced safely by rope access, it needs the right anchor system in the right locations.
At Next Level Painting, we install anchor systems that support safe access for high rise painting, façade maintenance, inspections, caulking, glazing and repairs. We understand how these systems are actually used on live buildings because our team works on façades every day. That practical experience helps us recommend anchor layouts that are not just compliant on paper, but genuinely useful for future access and maintenance.
We work with strata managers, building managers, facility managers and commercial property owners who need dependable anchor solutions for existing buildings, upgrades and ongoing maintenance planning.
Kattsafe Trained & Licensed.
Height safety anchors must comply with Australian Standard AS/NZS 1891 and AS/NZS 5532. Under Queensland legislation and WorkCover requirements, anchor points must be assessed and tested by qualified height safety professionals — not general trades, and not self-assessed.
For building owners and facilities managers, non-compliant or untested anchors create direct liability exposure. Any contractor or maintenance crew working from those anchors is at risk. So is the building owner who approved the work.
Regular testing also protects the building. Anchor points installed into concrete parapets, edge beams and roof structures are subject to the same environmental degradation as the rest of the building envelope — corrosion, concrete deterioration, movement. A point that passed testing three years ago may not pass today.

Anchor Point Installation
New anchor point installation for abseiling, rope access and fall arrest systems. We assess the structure, specify the correct anchor type for the load requirements and substrate, and install to Kattsafe system standards. All installations come with a written compliance report meeting Australian Safety Standards.
Anchor Point Testing & Load Testing
Testing and load testing of existing anchor points to confirm they meet current standards. We identify non-compliant, corroded or structurally compromised points and provide a detailed written report with rectification recommendations. Where points fail testing, we can carry out rectification in the same scope.
A thorough inspection of the substrate is first for compliance, such as the concrete slab or Colorbond deck.
All anchors are installed as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Followed by either a pull test or a close inspection.
Every anchor needs to be tagged with a current 12 month certification date and expiry. Any failed anchors are to be tagged out & removed.
We will send you a comprehensive report with all anchor locations, testing, & certifcate of compliance.
Our team relies on anchor points on every rope access job we carry out. We understand the forces these systems need to withstand, the substrate conditions that compromise them, and what compliant installation actually looks like — not from a manual, but from daily use.
