Rope access sky sign and high rise signage installation across the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Noosa. Install, removal and replacement handled end to end, including permits if required.
Our team of abseilers is a cost-effective alternative to traditional banner & sign installation. We have a vast array of experience in the industry & can install any signage no matter the size.
QLD Kattsafe Trained Installers.
Next Level Painting works on building signage at height across the Sunshine Coast using certified rope access. New installations, removals, rebrand changeovers, LED fitouts and upgrades, globe and tube replacement on illuminated signage, vinyl banners and applied graphics, panel re-fixing and general sign maintenance. If it’s mounted high on a building and it needs installing, servicing or taking down, it’s work we do.
We work directly for building owners, owners corporations and building managers, and as the high-access install partner for sign companies who fabricate the product but don’t work at height themselves.

We work exclusively on high rise and commercial buildings. If it goes high on a facade or at roof level, we can install it.
Sky signs Large-format signage at roof level and high on the facade — the building identification signage visible from street level, across a suburb or from the highway. Sky signs are what rope access is genuinely best suited to: they sit at the exact height where scaffold and EWPs stop being practical.
Building and facade signage Illuminated and non-illuminated lettering, logos and panel signage fixed to the upper facade. Mechanically fixed through the wall into structure, or mounted to existing sign frames.
Banners and building wraps Tensioned banners, promotional wraps and campaign signage, including install and removal at the end of a campaign run.
Vinyl and applied graphics Stick-on vinyl lettering, window graphics and applied decals at height, where precision alignment matters and there’s no room for a second attempt.
Sign removal and replacement Decommissioning old signage, rebranding swap-outs and campaign changeovers. We remove the old sign and install the new one in the same mobilisation.
Sign maintenance and re-fixing Re-tensioning, re-fixing loose panels and inspecting existing high-level signage that’s been up for a few years.
We look at the building, the proposed sign location, the available anchor points and what sits below the work area. This determines the rigging plan and whether a permit is required.
We handle the council permits and, where required, arrange the traffic management plan through a licensed traffic management company. Allow lead time here — council turnaround is typically two weeks or more.
We inspect the building’s existing roof anchor system and verify its certification is current. If the building has no suitable anchors, or they don’t cover the sign location, we install and certify our own.
Exclusion zones established below, crew rigs from roof level, sign positioned, aligned and fixed. Fixing method depends on the sign — mechanically bolted through to structure, mounted to an existing frame, or applied vinyl, as specified.
Wind load engineering and structural certification for the sign itself is the responsibility of the sign manufacturer or designer, and it should be specified before anything goes on the wall. We install to that specification.
What we bring is the access side of the compliance picture: certified rope access technicians, certified anchor points, documented exclusion zones and the council permits required to occupy the ground below the work area.
If you’re engaging us directly and the signage is still being designed, we’ll tell you early what the building can and can’t support from an access and fixing perspective — it’s cheaper to know that before fabrication than after.
